Entertainment Garden Example

The objective was to design a number of separate pleasant sitting out areas which link with various internal rooms. Various surface patterns, materials and textures were used to arouse curiosity and interest and to make the space appear as large as possible.

 This garden is small (12 x 15 metres) and is a simple rectangular shape. The spaces were designed on a circular theme, thereby drawing attention inwards towards the centre of the site and away from the rigid boundaries. The paving materials were chosen to harmonise with the materials in the house façade.
